Loaded Cherry Walnut Overnight Oats

Creamy, gluten-free quick oats loaded with tangy cherries and crunchy walnuts. This yummy loaded oats recipe is one of my favorites!

What you"ll need:

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats (gluten free, if needed)

  • 2 tsp. chia seeds

  • pinch salt

  • 1–2 tsp. pure maple syrup

  • 1/2–3/4 cup nut milk (I use almond, cashew, oat, or coconut)

  • 1–2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup frozen dark cherries (or 3–4 Tbsp. fresh!)

  • 1 TBSP Almond Butter - for drizzle

  • 1 Scoop Collagen Peptides

What you'll do:

  1. In a small bowl or jar (I find it’s easier to mix in a bowl), combine oats, chia seeds, salt, syrup, nut milk, and walnuts, frozen cherries and collagen peptides

  2. Stir to combine - taste and add additional syrup, or milk as desired.

  3. Transfer to a jar or container and cover.

  4. Refrigerate at least 30-40 minutes, up to overnight.

  5. then...

  6. To serve, add a little drizzle of milk or syrup, if needed, then top with remaining almonds and cherries, if desired.

  7. Also - add a little bit of hot/boiling water if you want a creamy, warm version.

  8. Add a few more walnuts and drizzle with your favorite nut butter of choice - I love Almond!
